Baigorri Reserva 2015

Baigorri Reserva 2007 obeys the regulated norm of ageing applied to this wine, however, with the luxury tools such as berries and clusters selection tables.

The macerations were long to achieve the strength both in the colour intensity and in its tannic structure in order to be able to age without possible and excessive smell and taste influence of the French oak, despite its 18-month ageing. Furthermore, both horizontal and vertical presses were used. The red wine comes from old vineyards of 50 years of age with sustainable viticulture and in harmony with nature, with 100% manual work. Natural running off by gravity was applied to obtain the best extraction of polyphenolic compounds, after which the malolactic fermentation was carried out in new French oak barrels.

It is a Rioja wine that within its Reserva classic typology has a touch of modernity with a combination of black fruit, licorice, spices and elegance, which does not lose intensity even at the end, since it is balanced and persistent.
