The hotel-restaurant Lera, located in a quiet town in the Castilian “Tierra de Campos”, is considered the great
temple of hair and feather hunting, a sport of which chef Luis Alberto Lera is an enthusiastic and respectful practitioner.

His cuisine is attached to his land like few others; It is enveloping and fragrant, rustic and wild,
with products that are already difficult to find for its authenticity. A day in Lera, breathing the space
and talking about pigeons and dovecotes, is something unforgettable.

 

 


Our Menu

Lera menu

 

A tasting menu of ten dishes, based on game, vegetables and other seasonal products. It reflects recipes steeped
in tradition and the earth,  with contemporary techniques and refined aesthetics,
which achieves both potent and mild flavours at the same time.

 

The menu is accompained by wines representative of the most important Denomations of Origin of Castilla and Leon.

D.O. Ribera de Duero. “Roland & Galarreta” High Altitude Plots. A wine crafted together by Michael Rolland,
one of the world´s most prestigious winemakers, and Javier Galarreta,
the Spanish wine visionary and entrepeneur. An ideal wine for kinetic cuisine. 

 

D.O. Toro. Winegrower, Finca Sobreño. Finca Sobreño Ildefonso. Made with grapes from the oldest grape vines
on the property, vines of over 70 years old. It is very expressive and elegant on the nose,
and on the palate is flavourful, complex, round and with mature tannins.

 

Speritive and cocktail, in the library or in front of the fireplace.

Visit to the restaurant´s wine cellar and the old industrial winemaking cellar.
Both were constructed several centuries ago and are the origin of the Lera Restaurant.

*Breakfast served at the table, famous for its homemade bread and buns,
traditionally made cold cuts or the garlic soup which is freshly made to order.
