Wine description
Clos d’en Ferran plot soil is rich in Devonian iron slate. It is the oldest rock we can find in the DOQ Priorat (400 Million years). This rock contains a lot of quartz or other mineral and a covering of oxides that give it a reddish or yellowish appearance.
The main color is near black or blue. It is a north oriented plot. Grapes maturity arrives slowly. Aromas of iron, cherries and berries are found in the wines that come from this plot. Their main characteristic is finesse and elegance.
