Wine description

Crianzas are the base of almost all Rioja wineries. It is the most commercialized wine with characteristics that suit most consumers. However, Bodegas Amaren apply the same rigour to this wine as to high range wines, choosing the clusters at double selection table with low yields, with the difference of younger vineyards origin, with an average age of 35 years, which create a fruity and varietal nerve.

The mixture of Malvasía and Tempranillo varieties translate into delicate floral notes on the nose, unusual in a red wine, and stone fruit. The entry into the mouth is friendly but immediately reveals a very structured wine, something that is surprising since the nose presupposes a lighter wine. Very long wine with a tannin that gives the wine great length on the palate.
