Wine description

Altún San Quiles owes its name to the town of the same name, a defensive enclosure located on the slopes of Mount San Quiles where Roman remains have been found that date back to the origins of the town of Baños de Ebro during that time. It is specifically about 5 maravedíes, one from the year 1603, and fragments of vessels, ceramics where the wine was probably transported. It is on this plot, located at an altitude of 450m, that the vineyards are used to produce this wine: 100% Graciano.

To make the wine, native yeasts were used, and spontaneous malolactic fermentation was carried out in 500-litre French barrels for 10 months and 4 months in concrete Galileo.Altún San Quiles owes its name to the town of the same name, a defensive enclosure located on the slopes of Mount San Quiles where Roman remains have been found that date back to the origins of the town of Baños de Ebro during that time.
