Wine description

Altún La Cicatera is made entirely from Grenache, and owes its name to a plot located at an altitude of 500m in Baños de Ebro, marked by a “stingy” soil, of a calcic character (Scaring: skimping on what it gives or spends) referring to the active limestone in the soil, which regulates the absorption of nutrients by the plant. These shallow, well-drained and limestone soils make the wines later acquire greater minerality and complexity in the final structure of the wine.

Aged in French oak barrels for 6 months and another 8 months in concrete.

Authenticity, complexity and elegance, it is an ideal wine for lovers of fruity tones and floral aromas. Let all your senses be intoxicated with the pure flavor of Rioja Alavesa.
